I've been running GBPVR for a very long time, and I'm very familiar with the application of various web servers -- So, I thought I'd get this one started. It's not as easy as I would have hoped.

I have it running on 88 (tried it on the default port with the same result), and I get this error (consistently)

Server Error in '/gbpvr' Application.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
HTTP Error 404 - Not Found.

There are certainly web application files inside of the directory \gbpvr\web, but I'm not sure what the deal is.... I've tried changing the users from admin to autologin, etc, without any success (obviously)....

Anyone know what button I didn't push or box I forgot to check?

Thanks Smile

Are you using the correct URL?

http://<your GBPVR machine's IP address>:88/gbpvr/Index.aspx
P4 3.0 Ghz (hyperthreaded), 1024 MB DDR
XP Pro SP2
20 GB system drive
2x 250 GB data drives, RAID 0
Hauppauge PVR-350

The default port is 7647...this is configurable via the misc tab within the GBPVR config utility.

The address should be http://localhost:7647/gbpvr/login.aspx
Intel Core i7 @ 4.00GHz Skylake 14nm
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Z170-DELUXE
Windows 10 Pro x64
PVR Software: NPVR 5.1.1
SiliconDust HDHomeRun HDHR5-4US Connect Quatro 4 Channel Tuner
Roku Ultra
2 PCH A-100's

"Localhost" only works on the machine running the GBPVR recording service. Any other machine on the internal network would need to use the IP address (or machine name if it can be resolved by DNS).

Another thing to do as suggest in this thread is to keep gbweb.dll and gbweb.pdb in /web/bin and delete everything else.

Hi Dan, and thanks for the note...!

That was more applicable than the other more elementary posts (no offense to anyone, but note, if someone indicates they run web servers, they are likely to know how to type ports in a URL <grin>).

The thread basically leads me to believe that it's a net framework conflict with the webserver application that sub is using. I'm not / can't change that and revert to a much older version to make this work as I'm running other applications that require a good recent version of NetFramework. I'll simply wait for Sub to update the webserver portion of the application.

Thanks!
Shannon
