Drive access problem

Hey guys.  I've had success with the install, local storage works well, and the interface is substantially faster than the windows one I've been working with.

The problem I'm having is getting access to the QNAP NAS drive.  I've done everything I can think of.  The drive is shared in the QNAP, I use NEXTPVR for the user account and I've given full access R/W to the entire TEMP2 directory and shared it with the user.  (Information in the FSTAB file below)


My FSTAB file, drive storage seems to be recognized correctly in http://192.168.0.203:8866/index.html and shows many GB free.


Failed recording message....

[Failed: Access to the path '/mnt/recordings/Las Vegas/' is denied.] 


I've included the LOGS file to confirm what I'm suspecting

Linux is still relatively new to me so be gentle, LOL.

I can share how I do iit with my share in /media  I use nobody with no password because I don't care about security on my home network and want to watch and delete etc however I please  I don't want to help much since there are so many variables in permissions and how restrictive (difficult) users want to make things at home.

My /etc/fstab entry

Then check permissions before or after the mount

Is the user NOBODY a reserved type of an account, or do I need to add a user to the system? I used nextpvr since I saw someone make such a comment, but I can create a "nobody" user without a password I hope.

I am not trying to replace browser searching for answers that I know are out there. The lower case nextpvr user exists and nobody is a reserved user name that should already exist.
