Hello,

here is a quick update about teletext subtitles.

configuration: PAL (Dutch), PVR-350

Results:
1) teletext subtitles work pretty good while watching live TV on CRT
2) there are no .srt files generated :-(
3) teletext subtitles get aborted as soon as time shift is activated. They only resume after I switch back to watching live tv on CRT. Even in that case, I have to switch channels before teletext subtitles are reactivated

@sub: if I can help you with debug-info or special test-scenario's, please let me know!

Cheers,
Johan Duinkerken.

I really cant remember where we got to last time. Reproduce the timeshift problem then zip and attach the logs so I can refresh my memory.

Are you using the TV out on your PVR350?

Are you using v0.94.13?

Hi sub,

I am using version 0.94.13

When I use TV out, I get the menu-OSD allright, but when I try to watch some program, the TV turns black for a couple of seconds and then displays the OSD for a second or 2 after which the menu-OSD reappears. The log files for this are in TV_out.zip. There are obviously no subtitles on TV.

The log files for time shifting on CRT are in time_shift.zip. During time shift I get no subtitles. Next to that, "pausing" is not easy, it might pause for a couple of seconds, after which it continues automatically, but stuttering...

Can you try running the following:

regsvr32 /u "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\WSTSRTAnalog.ax"
regsvr32 "c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\WSTSRTAnalog.ax"

Its failing to find this filter from the context of the recording service. Its something to do with the way the Windows Installer registers these components as part of an install. The commands above should register them correctly, and get rid of the key error message in your logs:
Quote:22:31:03.984 VERBOSE FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: GB-PVR WST SRT Analog

OK.

It will have to wait till tonight, I'm afraid, but I'll let you know as soon as I've tried it.

Did you set the page number for subtitles for the channel you recording? You need to do this in the capture source channel list.

Does teletext now work for you in timeshift mode?

channel number: certainly. Teletext *and* subtitles work when watching livetv on crt

teletext in timeshift mode: I don't think so, but I have to make sure, I'll be back in about an hour (sorry, have to be off, but I'll soon be back)

OK, Timeshift:
Timeshift itself works, but no subtitles during time-shift display. I can see that a .srt-file is created, but it stays empty.
