Hi, For a few weeks I've been running GBPVR successfully on my 24/7 box. Yesterday I reinstalled the OS to run WS2003 so that I can run a domain.

Since then, I cannot get the config tool to autoscan. It starts fine, then hangs once it finds a signal. I have a Nova-T with the latest drivers. I also use the Cyberlink demuxer from the AutoDVRMS tool.

Can anyone help? I'm missing a Quincy M.E every day I don't fix this. My gf is starting to suggest we put a VCR back into the setup.

While I'm here, I'd like to thank you for the software. I just switched from a certain OSS tool that seems to have forgotten to make a working version somewhere in the CVS, and before this problem I was in PVR heaven Smile

Nothing springs to mind, but if you zip and attach your logs I'll see if I can see anything obvious.

I've attached the logs. Thanks for looking at this for me.

The most recent attempts have been since I set hardware acceleration to 'full' and enabled DirectDraw/3D/AGP Textures.

The machine cannot read DVR-MS files (saying that there is no filter available) as this filter doesn't come with WS2003, but I have the Cyberlink demuxer installed and verified via the MuxChecker.

If there's any other info you need to assist then just let me know.

Unfortunately there is nothing obvious there.

You could try editing config.xml and setting <BDAScanType>2</BDAScanType>. It might help.

Fantastic! I have no idea what your change meant, but it worked. It's now behaving as normal. Thank you so much.

I spoke too soon. I cannot grab the EPG. It says 'starting scan...' then pauses for a few seconds, then it quickly disappears. There is another message just before the window disappears, but I think it is just the 'updating library' message that I have seen before.

I've attached logs again to show anything new since the last fix.

thanks

Yeah, that is a known limitation of using BDAScanType 2, you need ot use XMLTV or bleb for your listings.
