I have a Hauppauge 350PVR - and it is working fine in most every way.....

I love GB-PVR - so many great options!

The only thing I can't get to work is LiveTV.... I have worked through a series of errors (most of them covered in the support forums - very nice!).... and now, it tries to load, the screen goes black, and the message about the Home button appears.... a few seconds goes by... then - it goes back to the main menu.....

Any ideas? It doesn't give any error messages.... just doesn't show anything.... I love the software - and think it's many Plugins are great! Nice work all!

(My favorite is the Weather.... that is what sold my wife on it! We don't have access to a "localized weather channel" like cable gives.... so that was a great alternative!)

Thanks....

Mark

PS - Intle Celleron D 2.53, 512 MB, Win2k, 350PVR, 40GB/160GB, DVD-ROM....

I think you've set you card type incorrectly. Check you capture source settings. I think you've set it up as a PVR150 or PVR500, not a PVR350.

Thank you. It works - I didn't see the 350 on the list before.

New question - is there any way to make live TV show the channel # or name while watching or changing channels?

Thanks again,
Mark

It usually shows the channel info when you change channels or if you pause. Try pressing the blue key, this will also show this info.

It does show the record time at the top and a blue bar at the bottom w/the time at the right.... but no channel info.... and I have added/deifined/named all of my channels..... And, yes, the blue button brings the same info back up....

This is really excellent software by the way! Many great options, a nice complete package - and well put together!

Thanks....

I have the same question. The only time the channel # shows is if I enter it manually before switching.

My own question: Should the name of the program show in "Pending" recordings? Mine don't, though they do show in the lower right hand side of the main screen (scrolling).

Hauppauge 350.

Thanks btw for a great program.

Hi Sub. I found this:

linfor Wrote:I have to set a lot (over 15) of manual recordings because the spanish language channels always start 3-30 minutes off the listed times. I assign the name prefix when I set the recording however in the pending and reocurring recordings list it still just show "manual recording" instead of the name prefix. This is very frustrating when I need to update the time for the recordings as I have to go through each listed item to see which is which.
How do I get the name prefix to show in the pending and reocurring list?
from Oct. 6th. You replied that the next version would include this. Did it?
