It would appear that after my PC in the lounge comes out of standby the MVP Server doesn't work - IE its there - Its running but my MVP won't connect. If I stop the MVP Server and start it my mvp connects and works. I'm running the MVP server manually not using the feature to auto start it as I had the same problem than and that meant going into config to get it to restart things which I couldn't do if it was recording. Its not the end of the world but that main time at present we are using the MVP is when the kids get up in the morning and come into our bed to watch TV I have to get up and go out to the lounge and kill it and re-run it. I'm guessing its an issue with Standby/Power Saving? Anyone had this issue?

I've noticed the same problems when resuming from hibernate.

I have a setup where the MVP and my PC are connected directly (using a cross-over cable). For this reason I am also running TFTPD32 as a DHCP server (but only for the network interface decicated to the MVP) and I let TFTPD32 supply MVP with dongle.bin.

I don't know which part of software involved causes the problem, but plan to investigate the matter soon (unless somebody can point me to a solution; searching gbpvr.com/google have not payed off yet) :o

I'm using my ADSL router for DHCP - Everything is connected to a Gigabit switch, I'm only using standby not hybinate and by setting "allow this device to wake the pc" in device manager for the network card seems to let the MVP wake my PC from standby - it just NEVER connects - I have to stop and restart the GBPVR MVP Server.
