install MDAC problem

I'm trying to install on win 2000 and I only have MDAC 2.5 on my system. It seems that the Microsoft download pages for the MDAC 2.6 are not available. Is there any other way to get an updated MDAC?

You can use any later version of MDAC. 2.8 or whatever you find should be ok.

The link from the http://www.gbpvr.com page took me to the MDAC 2.6 download page OK. At the bottom of that download page there are also links for v2.8 and the v2.8 SP1. I'f you're using IE, just use the Tools menu then Windows Update - I think you'll find that the MDAC components are included in the Optional downloads if you don't have the latest.
