Lossless capture?

I've been browsing through the manual and forum, but I can't find out whether GBPVR is capable of lossless (i.e. bit-for-bit) recording of DVB streams (as for example is possible with the software that comes with my Hauppauge Win Nova-T card)... I would be grateful if anyone could answer this question!

Yes. It'll record bit for bit the DVB PIDs used for video/audio on channel you are recording. The video/audio streams are remuxed into a standard .mpg file, but there is no recompression or anything like that, so no audio or video information is lost.
