jorm Wrote:I recently wrote a plugin called xdvd not posted yet that transcodes the dvd for the MVP. We probably can do something similar in this case if you are interested.

Is this plugin for PVR350 already written?
And if so, how to get it and install it?

DIVX files now play through the PVR350 as of v0.95.16, an enhancement was added to encode to MPEG2 on the fly ( Thanks Sub Big Grin ), it uses software decoding.

I have tried this and it works beautifully on my Sempron 2.5ghz, before I had to encode to MPEG2 manually.
On slower machines you may get issues?

I agree the ability to play DVDs vis the plugin mentioned would be cool also Smile

Sounds like the DivX codec is not installed, but unfortunately I am at work so cannot check for sure where this file is located.

Try http://www.free-codecs.com to obtain a copy of the codec, it may fix your problem.

No, this is not the problem. I installed the latest DivX version. I also installed XP Codec Pack. This contains the most polulair codecs, but still no luck.

The problem is "FFmpeg.exe", but how to solve it?

I fixed this problem by downloading the dll from www.dll-files.com, and store it in the same directory as FFmpeg.
The video is now send to the tv, but is not stable. The sound is.
What could be the problem?

You could try bumping up the bitrate. Edit config.xml and set:

<PVR350TranscodeCmdLine>-y -b 2500 -i {SOURCE_FILE} {DEST_FILE}</PVR350TranscodeCmdLine>
