remote no working in Music

Sorry if this has been mentioned before! I did a search but no go.

The volume works in Live TV and videos but not in music! Is this something todo with how the new version uses wmp?

You are correct. Set the "UseWindowsMediaPlayerForAudio" to false in config.xml to make it work like in live tv and videos, but you have to get to the main menu first. And of course you will lose the nice visualizations.

Funnily enough, I've been having the same problem since upgrading (to make the Contour skin play nicely with gbpvr.)

At any rate. Even exiting to the main menu and then attempting to use both the left and right keys, and the volume keys, gives me no effect.

hmm - if windows media player is involved, it might be worth editing irremote.ini in the windows directory and commenting out the VOL commands in the Media Player section (ie. preface the VOLUP and VOLDOWN commands with a semicolon:
