I am using a clean install of GBPVR .95.16 on a XP-sp2 system with a Hauppauge 150MCE tuner in it. I am sucsusfully using Zap2it to download the guide.

When ever I am in GB-PVR and I select "TV Guide" it comes up saying "Error: Object referance not set to an instance of an object." and I cannot go any furthure.

I am able to use the "Search Guide" menu to find & record shows.

Perhaps of a different matter - Some times when it records shows it will fail 1 to 6 times before each recording, so when I loot to see ho many show I got, rather than saying I recorded 4 episodes last night it comes up saying I got 24 of them - 20 of them failed.

I just wanted to say that GB-PVR is the best tuner & capture program out there, I love it with my MediaMVP - and think Hauppauge should make GB-PVR the default program with their equipment.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe.log and I'll take a look.

Can you set the logging level to debug, then repeat and repost you logs?

OK - what I did is I re-installed GBPVR after; uninstalling it, deleting the directory, and rebooting - but the problem continued.

So I did those steps again but I didn't go into Config after the install and set stuff up - instead I ran the TUNING ASSISTANT first, then went into CONFIG and set the capture device, and updated the guide, and then deleted unwanted channels. Then everything worked fine.

BTW - when in - CONFIG - CAPTURE SOURCES - EDIT - if you click on the channel to delete by selecting the CHANNEL NAME & REMOVE it cause screen abnormalities, but if you select the CHANNEL NUMBER it doesn't have those problems.

Also it would be nice to have the option to export schedule.

I find that a bit strange. The tuning assistant doesnt actually do anything. It doesnt write to any config files, it doesnt write any registry settings or anything. It literally doesnt change anything. If you compared your machine before and after, they'd be exactly the same.
