Hi!

I just installed and configured my new Twinhan DVB-T card and everything seems to work fine, apart from one problem:

When using the MVP and selecting "Live TV" and change the channel using the up/down buttons of the remote GBPVR crashes and the MVP refuses to work. Doing the same thing on the computer (GBPVR.exe) works well.

I've attached the relevant log and the error message details to this message. Perhaps anybody knows a possible reason for this problem. I used to have a PVR 150 installed and did not have the problem before.

Changing the channels with MVP using the TV GUide, and selecting "Watch" in the menu works, just changing with up/down buttons generate this error.

regards,

Kai

Unfortunately your GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log doesnt seem to show the time the error occured (11/01/2006 21:29:02.187). Can you try again to reproduce the error and repost the logs?

Ok, the new logfiles are attached to this message. I can't see any error messages or something similar. Perhaps the whole thing crashes before the informations can be written to disk?

I just uninstalled GBPVR completely (also removed the program files\devnz directory) and reinstalled it again.
gbpvr.exe works very well, including changing the channels in LIVETV-mode, ...

But it refuses to work on the MVP. The menu is shown, but livetv does not work at all anymore (Black screen). When pressing up/down button on remote the recording service crashs and does not start up again. I've included new log files to this message.

Have you checked you can actually do a recording? Live TV on the MVP is effectively just playing a recording while it is still recording. This is not the case when you do it on your PC.

I can successfully start a recording with GBPVR.exe, but not from the MVP. Starting a recording from the MVP (from TV Guide) makes the recording service crash at once :-(
