Hey all. I am fairly distracted due to the birth of my son but I am trying like hell to get my PVR up and running.

First off. The channels do import from zap2it and everything seems to be working fine until I try to see the channels in GBPVR. It tells me that I need to import the list of channels blah blah ... Basically what I just did. The funny thing is that this worked for me before I moved it into the tv room... argh. I know the wireless connection is strong. Nothing else has changed.

I guess I need a step by step setup of GBPVR...

PVR-150 with the remote that came with it.

Funny thing about the remote. First I saw nothing that told me if it was a 45 button or the other I think 32 button remote. I guess I can count them Wink The strange thing is that when I try to update the buttons by clicking on the link in the config utility it tells me to run the setup for the remote which is not shown where they tell me to look. Its really odd. I installed all the drivers from the CD that came with the card and remote but the restart wintv (i think) link that they tell me to click in the start menu is not a part of the dropdown that shows....

Totally confused.

When you go into the capture source settings, are the channels listed? and do they have 'enabled' checked?

Go to windows Start
All Programs
Hauppauge WinTv
Restart IR

The little Remote icon should be in your tray.if not the remote won't work
Also the 45 button is silver, but like you said you can count them
Hope this helps

About the EPG not showing up after I force the update, click the checkbox to each channel listed except the ones we do not pay for. I hit ok after the load and when I go into GBPVR it says that I need to update the EPG...

WTF this is driving me insane!!!

I had this problem myself. It was caused by having the PVR-150 setup as a BDA recording plugin instead of a direct recording plug-in. Apologies if I am suggesting something too simple to be the issue..
