display TV Guide with MCE2005 remote

how can I display the TV guide with my MCE2005 remote during LiveTV? I can do it with "F1" key on the keyboard. I don't know what button can be used in my remote to do it. The "GUIDE" button on the remote launches XP Media Center and its TV guide. Can I map the F1 key to a button on my remote? I'm using the V2 MCE2005 remote. I've chosen MCE remote in the config app.

I'm also using the MCE2005 remote, but I'm not on Windows MCE. When I press the GUIDE button it shows the shows the GB-PVR guide. If the default behaviour of MCE is to launch MCE when you do this, I'm not sure how you'd override this. Girder or HIP might let you do thus.

Another option would be to press the 'i' button (MORE), to switch to video inset mode, then view the tv guide from there.

The 'i' button doesn't seem to do anything while in LiveTV. The other buttons work fine. I may have to plug in my Hauppage remote back into the tuner and use that with GB-PVR. I seem to notice the MCE2005 remote is not very responsive while i'm in the menus. It responds pretty well while i'm in LiveTV. I wanted to use just one remote for everything--the MCE2005, oh well...

When I'm in Live TV mode and press the 'i' button, the menu opens Live TV to the right. I can then press the guide button and it opens while Live TV is playing in the background.
Alternately, just as sub mentioned, I can see 2 lines of the guide below Live TV is I press the guide button on my MCE remote.

maybe i need to install the new version of gb-pvr for the 'i' button to work. do i need to uninstall the previous version b4 installing new one? thanks for all the tips.

If you're not running v0.96.12, you should upgrade. You dont need to uninstall first.
