Hello,
I've been playing with GBPVR using a Nova-t (model 90002) for a while, and decided (stupidly it now seems) to delete all my epg channels and start afresh. Now, though, when I try to map channels to the epg, I just get the message that GBPVR can't start up the card. All the settings are as they should be, and as they were before, so it's a mystery to me why it won't work any more.
I am using an XCard, which I know causes problems, but I have disabled and uninstalled it before attempting to scan for channels, which did the trick before. With the Xcard installed, the computer shuts down completely on channel search, but this is not the problem now. Previously, I was able to reinstall the XCard after doing the channel mapping, and then run GBPVR without problems; there was never the same problem with the computer shutting down when watching in timeshift mode or when updating the TVGuide using the DVB broadcast epg.
Anyway, as I say, the XCard shouldn't be the issue now, so does anyone have any ideas what may have gone wrong? The card is definitely still working fine- it runs as ever with myTheatre/DVBViewer, and GBPVR still finds it in the capture source settings section of the configuration (where you can tick for it only to display installed cards in the drop down menu, it comes up with the 90002 as the only option). I have tried changing the BDA scan number, even though the settings all worked as they were before, but to no avail.
Thanks for any ideas,
Frazer
