Config crashes and gbpvr wont start.

Hello. Things have been running fine until now. GBPvr wont launch and if I try to run config, I get the following. Does this mean anything to anyone?
I deleted all of the program files and installed the newest version but get the same error. I don't want to reload Windows this weekend if I don't have to.

Some thing is wrong with the windows database access components on your machine. You could try reinstalling Microsoft MDAC

Thnaks sub. I will try to run windowsxp-kb829558-x86-enu.exe when I get home to see if that helps. I have no clue what could have happened. Is MDAC even in Add Rem Progs? I guess I'll find out later when I get home.

Is MDAC even in Add Rem Progs?

I dont remember. I've never had to uninstall it. Its installed with Windows, and just works for the vast majority of people, but there has been the odd person popup with problems like this. Very rare though.

Maybe I'll start with a reinstall of SP2. If not, what's a weekend without a format! I'll let you know what works.

Update:
I fixed the problem by running CSRepair.exe to re-register MDAC and JET.
