LivePreview exits after 30 seconds

Sorry, I know you guys sent me these logs but I didnt really get a chance to look at them. I've just tried to look now and dont think I've got a good matching set of log files and mdb file.

If you can reproduce it (or next time it happens), can you zip and email a complete set of logs (incl recording service ones) and your gbpvr.mdb file. Email them to me at support@devnz.com. Thanks

I sent you the requested files. I restarted the recording service last night and it was fine, but then this morning it kicked me out after 30 seconds again.

I got the patch you sent. I'll install it as soon as I get home. I'll leave logging at debug and I'll zip up the logs and mdb files if it happens again. BTW - as an experiment I tried running jetcomp on the gbpvr.mdb file and got a dialog that said "error compressing database" - is there a jetcomp log file somewhere? And could this be related to the liveTV issue? Just curious, and thank you again.

This is probably because something had a connection to the database. Jetcomp will only work if it has exclusive access to the database. If you kill all the GB-PVR software then try again it'll most likely work.

Okay - thanks Sub and Chud. I don't use SlimGBPVR but I probably still had a GBPVR process hanging out. I'll not worry about it, though. I installed the patch last night, and as of this morning I can still watch LiveTV without getting kicked out after 30 seconds - That's the first time in a few days, so I'm hopeful the patch worked. I'll keep you posted, but so far so good. Thanks again Sub!

It's been four days and I've not encountered any problems. I think that patch fixed the problem Sub. Thanks again.

I've seen this after something has been recording. For example, I had set up to record SG-1 off the cable TV input while I was watching something else on the satellite input (different PVR150s.) After the recording finished I would try to select a channel on the cable input and it dumps me out to the main menu after aboout 30 seconds.

We don't normally do this activity very often so it hasn't been a high priority with me. The only way I have found to clear it is to reboot. So if there is a fix for this it would be good.
