Hey guys heres my mess... ugh.

Cable Modem --> Vonage (Linksys router) 192.168.15.1 (DHCP 100-149)

Vonage router --> Linksys router 192.168.15.200 (Static Ips from here)

Linksys router --> Computer running Gbpvr 192.168.15.201

When I plug my MediaMVP into a outlet connected directly to the Vonage router (well kinda, it's through a smart home switch) it can't seem to get past the connect to DHCP server part on the mediamvp screen. Sad

Any ideas?

My bet would be (in order) firewall on the GBPVR PC, firewall on the Router.

By Firewall, include WORM protection. Every time I upgrade GBPVR (or add a new GBPVR.exe file patch) I have to delete the old GBPVR.exe and GBPVRrecordignservice.exe from the Worm List and manually re-add them.

Clicking "permit" with the old one doesn't do it for me.

Thanks for your help guys! I ended up finding the problem. I have a smart house (Cat 5 wired) and I uh... had the media mvp... uh... wired into the wrong port. Doh!
