Yeah, I'm having the same problem, it's a DST issue, and I had to pre-pad some recordings for 60 minutes. Supposed to happen at 2AM April 2nd, (EST here) but the gap is for 10PM April 1st.
a little confirmation, since my initial gaps are for four of my channels at 10pm tonight (EST) as well. the other channels vary, with the last gap ending at 12:30am. and fro there on out, it is fine and dandy..
MAIN RIG - Opteron 165 @2900MHz

HTPC - Athlon 64 3800+

No, the time change happening on the wrong day and time isnât a big deal on its own.
But it is a repeatable opportunity.

I dont do anything with daylight savings myself. I'd hate to get into those very complex rules. Instead I just ask Windows to convert the UTC times supplied by zap2it to a local time and it does the rest.
Yes must be a DST time thing. I just went to schedule the F1 race that on my digital cable guide says starts at 10:30pm est , the gbpvr guide says it starts at 11:30 and the box from 9:30 to 11:30 is blank as are all channels that have shows starting at 10pm. If a show runs 9:30 to 10:30 it shows up in the guide.
I'll just do a manual recording and hope an EPG refresh tomorrow fixes the guide.

I set up a manual recording due to the gap and now I want to watch it (it's still recording) - When I select play, the MVP restarts displaying the contacting servers screen (the one with squares), first time every time.
Green power off button - nothing
Pull the plug, put it back in, stays at loading servers, repeat, same result, repeat, same result. repeat. Finally up comes the menu.
Try to watch my pending recording, MVP restarts.
Anybody know of anything that to replace GBPVR & MVP that just works.
It looks t me liek a DST switch problem with Zap2It. I see some gaps in the EPG in the 10-11 PM timeframe and the time for programs appears to be uniformly off by an hour e.g. EPG shows the program on at 1AM but its actually 12:15 local here.
I'm betting everything gets back in sync when windows does the time change in a few hours from now.

Dude, the problem isn’t that bad, and it’ll be gone tomorrow!
You should have tried TV capture 6 or 7 years ago.
I think it’s time for a simple “v0.96.12 survival guide” thread, listing the patches and workarounds people know of, until the next version comes out.
A few very simple changes has made my GBPVR / MPV experience very nice indeed. But I’ve switched over to xmltv and RecTracker for the time being
