Zap2it listings have been working fine and I can get more than a week of listings, but it seems like the networks will change their schedule and my schedule in GBPVR isn't updated.

For example, it was a 2 hour special of the Amazing Race and I only had 1 hour in the TV Listings. I missed the 2nd hour completely.

Anybody have an idea of how to deal with this? Should I set the number of days to keep shorter?

Thanks,
Ben

I almost missed a couple of shows a few weeks back due to rescheduling of timeslots by the networks. I grab 14 days of EPG.
What I usually do is go to another source, typically titantv, and verify what is on that night, just in case.

XBMC
Hauppauge 150 via SVideo
Comcast Digital Cable
Motorola HD Cable box channel changed via Firewire
Vista Home Premium with RDP hack

Thanks for the reply. I also pick up 14 days - nice to see what recordings there are past 7 days, but I'm not sure if it is refreshed, or once it's picked up then it only picks up new days...

Do you check it manually in TitanTV then or is this done by the system? Also, TitanTV only seems to support the States and not Canada yet.

I could have checked my Saturday TV guide b/c it was okay there and advertised there as well. So I could have manually recorded the show after it if I knew. I usually do that for sport events in case they run overtime.

Thanks,
Ben

I manually go to titanTV and look at the schedule, mainly on Wednesday nights for Lost/ERing/Criminal Minds.

And yes, once GBPVR dowloads a day into it's EPG, it does not update if there is a change. So if this is a problem for you, a setting of less than a week would be best. When the listings have changed on me, I just cancel the incorrect recording, select the wrongly named show that is on at the correct new time. (Or manually record it)

it only picks up new days. Some people have their epg empty and refill every day.
