DVB-S problems

Damned ... got a new machine and nothing´s working anymore.
Don´t know what i did with the old machine but it was working perfectly.
Any suggestion ? The problem is that i cant receive any channels (eg. the DVB-S Card is not working) Hardware is:
AMD Athlon 64 3000
ASUS A8V Deluxe
2 X 256Mb Corsair DDR400 CL2
Medion Geforce4 TI4200 NView TV out
Terratec Cinergy 1200 DVB-S (a KNC One Clone)
250Gb Samsung IDE ATA
Phllips 1648 DVD DL
Home Digital Desktop Case with IMON VFL Display/Remote
Home Digital 2,4Ghz Keyboard with Trackball
350W PSU Fanless 0db
Heatsink Sharkoon Red Shock 120mm Fan@900rpm 15db

Reception with bundled Software is fine- changing to BDA drivers gives
no result for me in gbpvr.
What went wrong ?????

Does the device manager show that dvb capture and tuner drivers are OK (assuming similar stup as my twinhann) if so check the filter_tuner and filter_capture names in the bda.ini file listed your chosen capture card and compare them to the names displayed by sysenum.exe (show all filter categories check out the BDA elements) contained within the GraphEdit download. I found that the device manager lied a little bit on the names and it matters a lot!

I dont recall anyone ever using a Terratec Cinergy 1200 DVB-S card with GB-PVR. You probably need to add a section to bda.ini for this card. marc has mentioned some mechanisms for finding the correct names for the bda.ini file.
