Since I upgraded to this version I notice the following bugs:
- I often see a green display when pausing, resuming or skipping a movie
- The screensaver doesn't release when pressing any button. Only pressing "guide" could make the screensaver go away.

Is it all solid green, or can you see some stuff? What video decoder are you using? Can you reproduce the problem then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log?

I'll take a look when I have my machine back up and running. Its currently offline for a reinstall.

my volume control is completely whacky, i'm not sure why, but i keep finding myself not able to turn the volume up from MusicPlayer plugin, but still can during livetv, and right now i can't even use it during livetv.

it seems like the lastvoume registry key problem, but i thought i read somewhere that bug had been fixed a few versions ago.

I see the all solid green now and again too. I just installed 95.16 over 95.14 so I'll let you know if I see it again. The place I have been seeing it in on the MVP when pressing the blue button while playing a video to bring up the OSD. First the screen goes al lgreen and then the OSD appears.

What does this have to do with microkid's post? It sounds entirely unrelated.

I prefer you post your own thread. I dont want one big thread covering all sorts of issues.

Are you trying to play back mpeg-4 movies, because this could be caused by a quicktime codec error tat is alo found in quicktime player.

See replies by Jeff and Tipstir. I tried to reproduce by playing back some recordings (MPEG, so no MPEG4) but I wasn't able. The gbpvr.exe-native.log has a date of yesterday, so I don't think it will be of any use? When it happens again, I'll try to remember to save the log file.

Ok, fine, I'm not in a hurry Smile

Update: I just did a 5 minute skip and notices the partial green sreen again. I also noticed the text "Videos" in all 4 corners of the screen.
This is the gbpvr.exe.log

I have the same problem as Microkid. After pausing a movie on the MVP it will not resume. After pressing the pause button again it comes up with a green screen as described by Microkid. After that resume/play works normal.

- Media MVP (RGB) on SONY 14" 4:3 CRT
- S-Video on SONY 32" 16:9 CRT
Computer:
- P IV 1.8 Ghz
- 768 MB DDR
- Ati Radeon X1650 Pro Graphics
Drives:
- 40 GB System (XP Pro)
- 300 GB Data (Recordings) on Lacie Firewire

Just adding a me too to the green screen, occasionally with purple blocks, issue on the MVP. Since this is the first version of GBPVR I have used, I couldn't say if earlier versions also had it. I had just assumed this was normal behaviour for a MVP.

Bringing up the OSD whilst playing video displays a green screen for ~2 seconds before the screen redraws. The MVP settings are Fully transparent OSD on, and force minimal OSD off.
