I'm experiencing a few bugs and I think some of them have been mentioned, but just incase some of them haven't. I also downloaded the patch I saw sub release, but the choppy recording takes some time to see when it's starts choppy.

1) I'm not sure why, but weather plugin disapeared. I did another install of the latest version and the plugin is not accessable from the config plugin menu

2) choppying when recording as has been mentioned before

3) I'm not sure if this is related to the choppy or not, but sometimes I do live television recordings and just today I noticed a few times that if I go into live TV and then if I exit and try to get back in it pops up saying no tuner found. I'm not sure if waiting awhile or navigating around, but then when I try live TV again I'm able to get back on live television.

4) I thought that the bug with ISO images were going to be fixed with this release. I have daemon-tools installed, I've mounted a working ISO that I can play in windows. I have the config setup correctly with pointing to the correct device for daemon-tools. When I use myvideos plugin and click play for the ISO it just sits there with a black screen.
I'm not sure if when I click on DVD if it's supposed to also know that there's an ISO mounted, but I've tried manually mounting the image with daemon-tools first and selecting DVD and also navigating with myvideos plugin and eitherway I can't play an ISO.

For the weather plug-in, can you tell me the dates of your commongbpvrutilities.dll file and weather plugin dll file? Also, if you can post your config.exe.log and gbpvr.exe.log files I can take a look.

Did you apply the patch from post #5 of the 'v0.98.8 survival guide' thread? This addressed a bug that is quite likely the cause of this. If you did apply the patch, then reproduce the problem, and zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I dont know anything about the myvideos plugin so cant comment on that aspect of your question, but I've just checked with the Video Library screen and it seems to be playing ISO files fine for me in v0.98.8.

WeatherPlugin.dll 7/19/2006

SUB:
I applied the patch, the one you have mentioned, I can't comment on the choppying of the video, but I can say now I'm able to go back and forth without it telling me I can't.

As far as the ISO is concerned I tired video library and samething is happening. I only get a back screen. Do I have to wait a few minutes? I've tried waiting aminute or two to see if anything will kick on, but nothing still. I posted the files that Jeff asked, so not sure if that will help.
Thanks

I wouldnt expect it to change anything to do with any choppyness you might be experiencing. It was only a patch to resolve with the tuner not being released after live tv.

Its probably related to the decoders being used. Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Codecs are one of those trial and error areas of Windows based PVR programs. Some combinations work for some people and not others. Just have to find a combination that works for you and stick with it. Would be nice if it was just a install this, and go with it situation, but unfortunately its not.
