Hi there, thanks for creating what looks like will be a great piece of software (once I get it configured properly)
I have just bought a new Dell MCE PC (Dimension 9150 - spec. in signature) and I was wondering if I could use an old Hauppauge WinTv PCI card that I had in my old system. I can't remember the exact name now of the card, but looking on the web I guess it's either the WinTV-Go or something like that.
The sticker on the PCI card says:
PAL-I
44805 REV C135
and looking on the Hauppauge site I think that means it's a 878 chip
I've installed the latest driver off the Hauppauge site (WinTv2000 version 4.7.23045) and I can get the TV (fed from my Sky box via composite lead) working fine (video&audio) with the WinTV2000 software

Tonight I tried to install GBPVR on my system but I don't know if my card is supported by GBPVR ? On the config.exe application when trying to set a capture device I don't know if my card is on there?
If I can't use my old WinTV-go card, then what would be a recommended one to buy. Is Hauppauge considered the best capture card? I see the majority of cards that GBPVR supports are from this company
I read somewhere that a good option would be to buy the PVR-150 (for capturing from the Sky box), and then maybe a NOVA-T (for freeview)
A final question: on the NOVA-T device, is there much difference between the USB and the PCI versions in terms of quality of capture? I ask because I don't really have any room for an additional PCI card
Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer
