Hi all,
I've been using GB-PVR version 227 for some while now, and I'm very pleased with it.

Soon my PVR-350 wasn't enough, so I bought a PVR-150 MCE to be able to record 2 programmes at the same time.

I added the PVR-150 to my system, installed the drivers according to the hauppauge website, but after that, nothing seems to be working anymore.
Meaning, I don't have video anymore. When I disable the PVR-150, it works again.

I'm using the latest drivers for the PVR-350 from the hauppauge website.

Does the 238 version have some approvements for multi-card support and/or the PVR-150 ?

Kind regards,
Edwin
Regards,
Edwin

It has improved support for the 150, but there have been some bugs found with other aspects of the program so there well be another release in the next few days that should address them. Recommend waiting for that new version to be released before you upgrade.
GB-PVR v1.1.5, 1x Hauppauge PVR-150 (v.2.0.48.25037), 2x Hauppuage PVR-500MCE (v.2.0.48.25037), Athlon XP 2500+@3200+, 1GB DDR RAM, Diamond AMD Radeon HD2600 Pro 512MB DDR2 AGP (v7.7), NVIDIA nforce2 Ultra 400 Chipset (v5.10), Chaintech AV-710 (v500b), Windows XP Home w/SP2, Microsoft .NET 2.0, DirectX 9.0c (Aug '07), NVIDIA PureVideo decoders (v.1.02-223), SchedulesDirect, Dell 2405FPW; DVI

When you added the 150 it probably became card #1 and pushed the 350 to card #2. Go into your EPG settings under capture sources and switch the card numbers.

Just tested the card numbers, but no progress yet.
Reinstalled the system:

- Reinstalled the OS (XP SP2)
- installed base 150 driver version 2.0.18.22316
- installed driver update 2.0.18.22316
- installed MPEG decoder 5.0.22236
- installed base 350 driver version 2.2.22301
- installed driver update 2.2.22292
- installed MPEG decoder 5.0.22236 (but failed, i guess because it's already installed on the system)
- installed GB-PVR version 2313

I have the 350 configured as source #2, the 150 as source #1
I have 2 sources in the status windows of the recording service. WHen I try to record 2 shows, the first one gets recorded, but the second one doesn't, although it's displayed as recording in the status windows. Sometimes the first download doesn't stop and fills up my HD.

I'm on the verge of losing it [Image: tounge.gif]

Can someone help me with my setup ? Step-by-step install guide or something ? I have 2 cards, but the PVR-150 is disabled right now.

I have a PVR-350 (model with large heatsink) and a PVR-150 MCE. Running XP SP2, on a ASUS Pundit-R barebone (I guess 845 chipset)

Please help me

Before I forget, I also tried GBPVR with only the 150 installed. When I try to view live TV, I get a C++ error. I'll post the screendump tonight.

Regards,
Edwin

Edwin10 i get the exact same problems with my 350 and 150 combination, i cant use my 150, but my 350 works fine. if i remove the 350 source, i get the same error. emailed my info to sub, he said that i had to wait until the next version to see if that helps. to make sure your sources are going you could record on watch a show with the 350 and then try using the tuning assistant with the 150 and see if it picks up channel, that way at least you know windows knows how to use them together.

Reven,
I tried al combinations in GB-PVR, but ended up disabling the 150. And with only the 350 it works like a charm.

I'll try what you descibed. I enable the 150 in windows device manager, but don't use it as a recording source in GB-PVR. Then the tuning assistant should work?

Is it working with you ? If so, it's not a driver issue, is it ?

Sub, is there a fix for this in the next release ?

Regards,
Edwin

Not at this stage. I'm looking at some other things at the moment.

I have the problem with a pvr250 and usb2 pvr, I never managed to get it working. So I ended up going elsewhere for dual tuner setup. But still use gbpvr but with the one tuner setup and mvp.

Sub,
(seriously trying to avoid being the impatient type) When will there be a fix for the 150/350 problem I described ? And which is causing some other sleepless nights too ;-)
