Hi,

I have problems with manual recordings.

At first I got the "Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." when trying to set up a manual recording. But when trying some more times, it got accepted BUT now I get the error as soon as I try to view pending recordings.

Is there a possibility to do some "hard reset" on this?

While playing around with manual recordings, I also noted that I could not decrease the stop time past current time, even though I set the recording to happen tomorrow. However I could increment it, and thereby wrap around the stop time and set it correctly.

I still think this is a great program!

Can you zip and email me your gbpvr.mdb file?

Isn't the first part the same as this?

I thought this was an "everybody's got it" problem that's already fixed for the next version, so I didn't report it. If that's not the case and you need more data, give a holler and I'll send whatever you need.

PS: Are there "on the todo list", "probably ready for next version", "rejected wishlist items" lists around somewhere?

Ah yes, so it is. I'd forgotten about that fix.

Sorry about that, I missed that thread, thanx for pointing it out.

So the problem will sort itself out once the recording is supposed to be executed? (and never reappear in the next version).
I'm still excited about this piece of software!

PS. Your yellow piece of paper would be great to have in a sticky thread   [Image: wink.gif]

I dont think it rights itself, so you may need to reinstall to get rid of the entry in the mdb database. Alternatively, if you have MS Access on your machine, you could open the MDB file and delete the recording schedule with a null programme_id.

From memory this only affects manual recordings. The error occurs when GB-PVR is trying to show the name of the programme (yet there is no programme associated with the recording).

Seconded. I've got a few wishlist items and bug reports but since I'm finding it somewhat hard to piece together what's already fixed/being looked at/been rejected I've decided to wait until the next release to see what remains.

A sticky VCF type post would be very handy.

That's how it works for me. I've done some tests on manual recordings and while it always bugs out when adding it, and if entering "pending" afterwards, once the recording has completed it shows up in "ready" and "pending" is once again available.

It did for me to. As soon as the recording started, it showed up in the pending section and everything is ok.
