Capture Source not Removing

I just recently installed GB-PVR and love it. There's this small problem, however, which is really quite irritating. There is a listing under the Capture Sources tab in the gbpvrconfig that won't go away. I think this is the reason that my EPG doesn't update automatically like I set it to.

I have to manually Edit my profile (the one I added) and click the Update EPG button (which takes several minutes). I'd much rather get the automatica update working correctly. That's my major concern. An extra Capture Source listed makes little difference to me, personally, but like I said, I assume that's what's causing my EPG to not update.

Here is the name of the listing I cannot remove: Device1-Tuner. I even tried to edit it to the settings I made to my profile so I could just delete my profile and use that one. What happens is I can Remove the profile but when I go to close the config, it freezes up and windows pops up that box of "Program not responding, end now?"

I am using a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150, if that helps anything. Thanks in advance for any help! Smile

Yes, a couple of other users mentioned the 'Device1-Tuner' capture source that I must have left in from my testing in the latest release. Just ignore it. It shouldnt cause any harm, but you cant delete it.

I had the same problem. The only way I found to remove it is to do a uninstall/reinstall, and when the config window comes up for the first time, delete the source and click ok to close and save the config window right off the bat.

I was having a problem with programs showing up as scheduled but not recording. I though maybe it was because GBPVR was trying to record them using the device1 capture source. I don't know if that was the case or not, but since I've deleted it I've had no problems.

Thanks King Mob, until I did this, Config would hang on me every time I pressed OK. Quite frustrating, spent hours reinstalling and trying other things trying to get it to work.
