Man, a widescreen skin like this would be awesome!

This is a widescreen skin currently in development for MP. It looks awesome and the added real estate allows for greater functional flexibility (IMO). Props to Raven, the author. With all the skin progress we've had around here it would be nice to see someone tackle a widescreen skin.

I agree they do look nice, (although I would have to view it entirely with a projector to be able to read the text from our regular viewing position
).On the other hand Quote:...the added real estate allows for greater functional flexibility (IMO)you are probably right, but as far as I can tell, this skin doesn't use it in any way - it has the same stuff as a standard skin, but spread out a lot wider (ie. relatively small text for the program names, followed by unused space etc). Always interesting to see what others are doing though. |
