remote control on mvp stops working

hi yesterday my remote conrol from the mvp stops working! I replaced the batteries in the remote, but it didn't changed anything.Pushing the buttons i can see flickering the led on the mvp, but no reaction! I can't turn off the mvp, I need to plug out the power cable.Could anybody help me on this! thanks in advance£:confused:

Do you have an error listed in your gbpvr.exe.log file?

I dont know. There isnt any errors listed there, other than weather plugin errors, but that would account for it.

I find that if I push any remote button on my MVP too quickly(like FF, or REW), it will do as you describe. I am now trained to press button, wait, press button, wait.....and no problems since.

Hi I tried it out with an other mvp remote control and it worked,so my remote control is damaged ! Thanks for your suggestions and your time guys! I ordered a new remote from mvp,and then I can again enjoy my gb-pvr :-)

I was having the same problem with my MVP remote (pushing the remote buttons caused the MVP to flash but not do anything). I bought another remote and it works fine. Sounds like the MVP remotes aren't too reliable.
