sub with the latest version my EPG times are often out by a minute or two.

eg from xmltv file
Code:
<programme start="200603152000" stop="200603152030" channel="02">
    <title lang="en">Joey</title>
    <desc lang="en">Joey meets a beautiful woman who is taking a class in English as a second language. To court her, he also enrolls in the class.</desc>
    <category>Comedy</category>
  </programme>

and in the epg it shows that show starting at "7:58" and ending at "8:29".

this isnt with every show, but its with a lot of them. anyway to fix this, i assume its caused by the american show times "fixed' you just added.

No, that was only logic that occurred at scheduling time. It didnt adjust the listings times.

Are you sure that it wasnt listed like this earlier in the week in your XMLTV file? I copy the date/times verbatim, which makes me think an early XMLTV file you used had these times. I dont apply any small offset like this.

What broadcaster was it? Maybe they're starting to play some of these tricks we see in the US.

nah the original xmltv file had times on the hour, no tv source in new zealand does the ":59" trick.

the sources are tvnz.co.nz, tv3.co.nz, prime.co.nz, skytv.co.nz

I'm sticking by my original comments. There is nothing in GB-PVR that would do this.

yeah im using GBPVR 96.12

can you check Popstars Live in gbpvr, it says its starting at "3:26am finishing 5:03am" on 15/03/2006

and in the original xmltv file
Code:
<programme start="200603150325" stop="200603150505" channel="02">
    <title lang="en">Popstars Live</title>
    <desc lang="en">
    </desc>
    <category>General Entertainment</category>
  </programme>

and im sticking to the fact the xmltv and gbpvr EPG are different, for no reason i know of. and im using the .soap files so the the times wont have changed in an updated xmltv file. i didnt notice this in any other version of gbpvr, not even 0.96.11, but its happening a lot in .12, go figure.

Again on .8 and using EWA. I would look at upgrading but need to install a PVR500 tonight so I wont get a chance.

I've just checked my database. I dont have a single show that starts or ends on :28 :29 :56 :57 :59 :01 :02 :03 :04.

What are you using to view these shows details? The standard tv guide, pressing 'enter' on a show?
