TV Guide - Zero Size Error

TV Guide - Zero Size Error

For the past month I have been getting Zero Size errors in TV Guide. Is there anything that I can do to eliminate these? It causes the TV Guide to close and will not reopen until I close GBPVR and reopen it.

The error repeats at the same channel and time in the guide, so I guess it has something to do with the data from zap2it.
GBPVR on Vista Home Premium

I get this error occasionally also with 96.12, and prior versions. It does seem to be caused by zap2it data at a specific time. Right now it occurs when I scroll to 3/15 at 11pm EST, but only on my home PC not on my laptop. Complete EPG reload does not eliminate it. Error causes MVP to lockup, and causes PC mouse to lockup but keyboard still works.
What, me worry?

I never did manage to reproduce it here, but I did put some thing v0.96 that I hoped resolve it. I guess it didnt.

I looked in gbpvr.mdb at the zap2it data at the time where I get the error in the guide and saw listings with a date but missing either the start time or end time (screen shot attached). Could this be the cause of the error?
What, me worry?

I am using v0.96.12 for the TV Guide zero size error.
GBPVR on Vista Home Premium
PVR150 and HVR-1600

This happened to me just the other day as well... same error exactly as described. I also did a full EPG reload to no effect. It's definitely a problem with the Zap2It download, where a start or end time is missing from the DB. Of course it depends on your particular listing / provider.

Edit: Using the latest GBPVR version, freshly loaded on a new PVR.

Unlikely. The default behaviour for many database apps is to not show the time if it is 12:00PM. Its just a display thing though - the time is still present.

I thought it was most likely a show that begins and ends at the same time. ie, zero minutes long.

Just a guess...

Notice that Nightline ends at 12:06. When the guide is lined up for 12:00 a six minute time slice needs to be drawn in the guide. Six minutes might transform to say four pixels. Four pixels minus 2 for the left border, minus two for the right border, equals zero pixels.

That was my first thought as well. I'll try to investigate further.

I wonder if a skin designer can confirm this? (I'm using ContourHC)
