Hello,
I've found GB-PVR only a view days ago. So I'm an Newbie, german is my native language, but there seems no german forum interesstet in GB-PVR. So I try to find the right words in english...

I'm using GB-PVR with a Hauppauge PVR 350 - after I solve some problems about german cable frequencies I got a problem with the remote control. If GB-PVR is the active window my silver rc from Hauppauge works fine. But I use GB-PVR with the TV-Out on my TV. So I can't use the rc when GB-PVR looses focus.

Is there any way to solve this problem?

An other small problems: When I'm using hardware-decoder for TV-Out I can't use the internal radio from the PVR350. When I switch to radio there comes an error and GB-PVR crashes. Also teletext only gives a black mask all over the screen. Whem I'm using software-decoder both works fine. Is there any way to made radio and teletext working with TVout on the PVR350?

Another question: Why there is no local playback, when hardware-decoder is used? WinTV2k is able to show local playback and TVout at the same time.

You could try using the 'direct access to hauppauge remote' feature.

I think I added the FM radio feature after I stopped supporting the PVR350's TV out, so its not something I've ever tested. Do you have the required LAME encoder installed? (http://www.elecard.com/ftp/pub/directsho..._dshow.zip)

You could try running the ReRegisterFilters.bat to see if it helps your teletext problem.

When WinTV2000 does this, it uses the hardware decoder for the tv out, and software decoding for displaying on the screen. I didnt want to do this. You can either choose to use the hardware decoder or a software decoder.

Do you loose focus when watching divx files?
If so look here http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=11005

I would recommend that you search the forum for "350". Some (many?) people have problems when using the tv-out :-(

This works fine.

Maybe I've made a mistake in the fist try, now it works fine.

Yes, it helps!

Too bad. In my case (normally using TV-out, sometimes using at Desktop) it would be better to switch this in the gui. But GB-PVR is brilliant without this. Thanx for this real good software!

Sorry, I've long since given up adding supporting or adding features for the PVR350's tv out.

I didn't test this feature now. And also not really interrested in it. My DVD-SA-Player plays all formats I've found (include NeroDigital H.263) so I always use this for such files. When I do exactly understand the way to playback something over the TVout of the PVR350, then it seems to me, that it must be a transcode for the files to mpeg2. I don't know the exact way, GB-PVR do this. Maybe Avisynth may help to solve this. Or Mencoder may be a help for this, but this may only be able on a strong machine. At a short try, I'ver found a couple of files, WinTV can playback over TVout and GB-PVR dosn't.

No Problem. GB-PVR does what I want. Better than all other software I testet. And there is no perfect software everywhere. If some features didn't work in future versions - I will keep this version running Wink
