I am a beginner skinner and am not an artist, but if you just wish to make images, you can post them here:

Any user can download those backgrounds and use them in almost any current skin.

Task images are another area that can use some development.

I did a quick and dirty hack job on your wallpaper to show what it may look like in a skin.

This is a "SkinEffect", the black bands above and below are user selectable colors.

Not stealing your work, just showing ideas.

I have an idea of how i want my skin to look, i might hack something together tonight and post a picture. If people like it, I can make the elements and someone else can put it together, maybe?
