Hi I have comskip set to run after recordings and for some reason right now as I am recording something my CPU is up to 100% and there are two comskip.exe programs running in my task manager one taking up 12 % and the other one is taking up the rest. Is this normal????

Nope, not if you are recording one show... There are three ways of starting comskip. One is by calling it from postprocessing.bat. One is by calling it from parallelprocessing.bat. And one is to set it in the gbpvr config app. Did you by chance start it from two of these places?
I'm not always right

Yes, this is very CPU intensive activity, but it should do it at low priority.

It will take up the 'available' cpu time, but at a low priority; so if you are doing anything else on your machine it will throttle down automatically.
