0.97.7 recording problem

I've just installed 0.97.7 (upgraded from 0.96.12), and now there is some problem with recording.

I looked in the GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log and got this:

The last log message is repeated approx. 150 times per second so the logfile grows fast to a disk-filling size...

So:

1. Any hint why the recording doesn't actually start?
(the directory for the recording is created so something happens)

2. Even if i set the debug level to Error, the last message (on VERBOSE level) is filling the log file. How do I turn that off?

Do you need all logfiles? If so, where should I send them?

I dont know why recording didnt start. I'm not very familiar with this device, or any of the issues relating to it's use.

You can get rid of the "IKsPropertySet->QuerySupported" message by editing direct.ini and setting the PVR2000 section to have INIT_MODE=DEFAULT.

INIT_MODE was already set to DEFAULT, so that wasn't the culprit...

I noticed, however, that in the 0.96.12 version of direct.ini INIT_MODE was set to IVAC...

Yes, I think it was switched to get rid of the error message above. You could try changing it back, but I'm fairly sure it'll have no impact on the recording starting.

You could try setting INIT_MSP=0. It might help.

INIT_MSP=0 solved the problem! Recording works, and no "IKsPropertySet->QuerySupported" log entries!
