Just curious - everyone always seems to have NO issue at all testing that their connectivity and MVP hardware is working by doing a dry run with the included Hauppauge software.

Then, many people seems to often have lots of problems trying to go to the next step with the GBPVR software. What's the difference?

I know the DHCP server isn't included with GBPVR - though I don't know how much of an issue that is it does always seem to confuse the newbies quite a bit - we see those comments coming up constantly.

I know the GBPVR software is much more advanced than the Haup sw, is that part of what is going on?

Just curious, really....

Methinks Net2 may have a bearing on it?

Something in the switch to .net 2.0 has introduced the current set of connectivity problems. I havnt looked into it yet. Maybe later today.

Go Canterbury!!

GBPVR is saving my bacon here! My daugters ballet is on at 7pm till 9 so GBPVR is recording the game for me, my brother and sister in law are comming back afterward to watch the game with us - I've never been so nervous about using a PC to record something. Dunno why tho - haven't had a failed recording in months!
