Hi,

I have a Dell1100 and I installed the PVR 500 card. When I installed the software, I got 2 messages complaining about:

c:\program Files\devnz\gbpvr\GBPVRWriter.ax
HRESULT -2147010895

c:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\GBPVRFlowStatus.ax
HRESULT -2147010895

I ignored the messages and continued with the intallation. When I try and run the application, I get: This application has failed to start because HCWIRBLAST.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

I have read a number of the wiki's and did a search but didn't find a solution. Might anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Another issue I'm tunning into is when I try and install the drivers from the CD, I get: Could not load the DLL library C:\WINDOWS\system32\hcwpnp32.dll. The specified module could not be found.

I've tried looking at microsoft's site but could not find it.

Any suggestions???

Not sure if this pertains to the 500 too but with the USB an 150's you get a tool called hwclear that will clear all the Hauppagge driver info from the system. Reboot and follow the instructions from Hauppagge carefully (if you install the drivers out of order they don't work).

Best I can offer. Hope that helps!

Could it be, that you try to install the MCE Drivers for the PVR-500? With these i had the same experiences.

Try the followings:
ftp://downloads.shspvr.com/download/wint...3_whql.zip
ftp://downloads.shspvr.com/download/mpeg....23290.exe
ftp://downloads.shspvr.com/download/irbl....24041.exe

ok, I uninstalled the app. using hwclear and reinstalled the drivers. I then installed the bgpvr software and it seems to have installed correctly since I did not get any indication of anything complaining... But now after it installed, the install screen goes away. Not sure of what to do next, I locate the config file in c:\Program Files\devnz\bgpvr\Config and I get the following message:

To run this application, you first must install one of the following versions of the .Net Framework: v2.0.50727 Contact support....

I read one of the help documents and downloaded and installed dotnetfx but I still get the same error. I am assuming that the dotnetfx is different than v.2.0.50727? I'll look to get this (v.2.0.50727) from microsoft.com.

Am I heading down the right path??

I've been trying to find the download but everything keeps bringing me back to the file I already downloaded (dotnetfx). Could you give me a link or hints where else to look?

Deinstall GB-PVR.
Now install .NET 2.0
After successfull installation, try again to install GB-PVR.

.NET should be installed BEFORE GB-PVR.
