PVR 500 running 2.0.35.23348 recording off Coax aerial.

GBPVR 97.7 & and i just upgraded to 97.9 and tested again.

MVP is using bundled dongle.bin with GBPVR - no power off after install.

Test included;
  1. Start a recording off the tv guide from coax
  2. Watch and use short skip from gbpvr to skip around the recording. This is fine.
  3. Go to the MVP (D3A) start watching the same recording.
  4. Use short skip (set to 30 sec increments) to navigate around the recording.
  5. Use skip forward (Ctrl-Right - the 1 minute one) - bam, contacting servers.
  6. Wait for restart - start recording again, try and skip to where the recording left off, sometimes will reboot the MVP, sometimes will skip right to the end.
Noticed that the timeline is wrong says there's only 30 of video, but it's been running longer than that.
Went back to GBPVR - stopped the recording. Checked the timeline - says 32 seconds.
Dropped out of gbpvr, had a look at the recording - windows media also reports 32 seconds, but play the video and it runs longer (I have a copy of the recording if you want to see it).

I always remembered that the MVP didn't like the ctrl-right skip while recording, and before 97 version, the short skip would run 2x speed so it didn't have the same problem. But since 97, the short skip does a 30 second skip like the pc gbpvr.

Wondering if you have any ideas as to what might be causing this, I guess all I am really after is;
should I expect to be able to watch a video that is currently recording via the mvp and skip the ads (since I'm behind live by x minutes).

If you're interested in that video, it's 100 mb, I could arrange to open an ftp port on my network - then pm you the connection details.

OK. I've found and corrected this issue for the next release. I dont think it was new to v0.97.x.

No i don't think it was either, but seemed to be worse...or maybe more pronounced since the 2x play was changed (on ctrl-f) to a skip.
