I have just started using the web admin feature but for some reason i can not change the username or password on the misc tab in gbpvrs config. It just keeps going back to the old username & password.

I am using 0.97.9 version of gbpvr with the version of web admin that gets installed with it.

Cheers Jase

Do you get any errors listed in your config.exe.log when you click the ok button in the config app?

Did you manage to have a look at the log sub or have you any ideas of what this problem could be. Sorry to be a pain when you have just come back from holiday.

I did look, but couldnt see any obvious error in your logs.

I've just tried it here now, and it seems to be working fine here. I've checked the code, and its pretty much treated the same as any other setting, so I would expect other settings to also have problems if this is happening.

If you check the <WebPassword> setting in config.xml before and after you try to change the password, does the value change?

Sorry, I've got no idea why its not changing. Its just the same as all the other settings.

Yes thats correct. But the exact letters and numbers should change each time you change the password.

I'm at a bit of loss to explain how this could happen.

If either of you are on broadband, and have VNC installed, I'm happy to connect and take a look.
