I had a failed record when I had a SATA HDD cable issue; the programme recorded from hibernate but did not shut down correctly, leaving me with a failed record within GB-PVR. I cannot workout how to manually remove the tagging box for the programme within the record section of GB-PVR, as the delete function will not work?

I read somewhere in the search section GB-PVR was supposed to remove it if it did not link to the file but it does not appear to function. Rolleyes

This is covered in the sticky 'v0.97.13 survival guide' thread.

Jeez Sub, do you eat, sleep, or otherwise have a life outside of this forum. Or is GB-PVR the love of your life (it could be cheaper Rolleyes )

BTW: thanks.

Ah Sub, is the GBPVRBackendCommon.zip file still operational because when I download & attempt to open it it comes up with the standard invalid/corrupted file error. I have tried three times, also done Goggle search & tried to find it on wikipedia. No joy. Thanks.

I found another thread stating the Winrar option. Will see if it works.

Some internet explorer users have problems downloading zip attachments from the forum. It relates to the web server double compressing the stream the stream sent to the browser.

Several work arounds exist including:

- using a different browser
- using a download manager
- disabling HTTP 1.1 extensions in your browser settings
- downloading the zip file, extracting the extensionless file it contains, and renaming it .zip, then extract files from that.
- use winrar
- ... and probably some others
