Hello All,
I'm a little new to GBPVR, having just recently switched from MediaPortal. I have to say that I'm much happier with this program. The only setup issue I'm having is getting the post processing of recordings setup properly.
Right now, I'm using comskip after the recording has cmpleted and running comclean to cut out those pesky ads. That combination is working great and if anything, comskip is a little too permissive. By that I mean that it is more likley to leave some commercials in place than to mark show material and comclean butcher my recording.
I want to get it setup so that the file is transcoded to DivX AFTER comskip and comclean have done their magic. Right now, the transcoding starts at the same time as comskip and I end up with an mpg with no commercials and an avi with them. I would also like to have the transcoded file replace the original, leaving me at the end of all processes with one tiny little avi file in the folder(disk space is an issue for me). Any help is appreciated.
P.S. How can I adjust the DivX encoding properties? I had tried to run them through Converter manually, but DivX wants me to buy a $9.99 mpg plugin! I can't find anywhere in the DivX group with the encoder properties.
Thanks again,
Matt Burchett
