Let me begin by saying GBPVR is an impressive program. I have successfully got everything up and running besides post processing. I have little experience with batch files and was looking for help. My current machine is a Pentium D 805 running at 3.2 Ghz with 2 gb of ram a X1600 and a Hauppauge PVR 250. My goal is to record shows and then have GBPVR automatically Convert these files into relatively small (450mb an hour or less) Xvid Avi files without commercials. From my understanding I need to use comskip and comclean to remove commercials. I have also seen ComCut which seems to streamline that process. I also would like to auto convert the files as soon as the file is completed recording. Plus i would like to crop the video a little bit to remove the annoying squiggly lines at the top of the recording, So i am here in the hands of all of you experienced users. My wish is that someone could provide me with a postprocess.bat that will do all of these things and let me know what additional software i need and where to install it. Once i get this finished my setup will be perfect. So again please help and thank you...

Start here: http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Utili...anscodeCut

This will give you some idea what is possible. Also search for a thread on using videoredo by reboot ( forum member) http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...edo+reboot. This is what I use and it works great for everything except the transcoding part. I just keep everything as an mpg. I think additional harddrive space is relatively cheap and my mvp works better with mpegs.
