I would first like to start by saying thank you. I have been trying to set up Media Portal for over two weeks now and get it running correctly and in 15 minutes I downloaded GB-PVR and had it doing what I was trying to do with Media Portal.

I just have two issues that I need some help with. One is that I have a dvd saved on my hard drive. If I go into my videos and try to play it it comes up with the complete file listing rather then playing the movie. Is there a setting I can fix to make it just play.

Second I was wondering if you have some kind of itunes plugin as I have some shows that I downloaded from itunes and it would be really cool to be able to play them through GB-PVR.

The first issure is more important to me then the last. Thanks again and appreciate the help.

for DVD playback it's best to rip the entire DVD as an ISO. GBPVR will natively use Deamon Tools (you'll need to download and install the app first, then configure it in GBPVR config) to playback the ISO.

If you do have VOB files already GBPVR will play these, but you might have to manualy play each chapter!

There's pleanty of freeware on the web that will convert your VOB files back to a DVD ISO, or an mpeg - just Google it.

Search the forums for itunes - a few plugin developers have been working on it, but i'm not sure of the latest state of play

All releases other than v0.97.13 can play directory based DVDs aswell, but a bug in the new media library screen in this version made this not possible. I've corrected it for the next release.
