Recording has been working perfectly up until now, I haven't changed anything in the config but now when I go to record it quits live TV and returns to the main menu like it usually did but instead of recording it now starts up the sound in the background, doesn't record anything and will continue to act like it's recording with the audio in the background while the recording service is enabled, even if the actual GB-PVR app isn't running.

I can't delete the recording from within the program, if I try to restart the recording service it just starts back up when the service is started again and the only way to delete the recording and then stop it is by stopping the service and deleting it manually within the database. Live TV works perfectly.

Logs Attached.

I thinks failing to find a mux filter on your machine. You need to download and register the Cyberlink mux filter.

I have but could it be a conflict as it's finding the Cyberlink one twice?

What BDA mux do you have selected on the misc tab of the config app?

Definitely something strange going on there

Maybe try deregistering that mux, then re-register it.

regsvr32 /u C:\WINDOWS\System32\MpgMux.ax
regsvr32 C:\WINDOWS\System32\MpgMux.ax

For some reason it won't unregister both.

I managed to get the one with the capital S unregistered but not the other.
I then tried registering a second one in C:\ and uninstalling the one in system32 but that just deregistered the one in C:\

I'm guessing there is some broken registry settings stopping it from being unregistered, and stopping GB-PVR from being able to use it. I dont know how you'd fix this though.

I'll see if I can work it out by editing the registry - thanks for your help sub.

Fixed it.

Deleted entries in the registry for the Cyberlink Mux until your MuxChecker app no longer detected it.

Registered the Mux
Unregisted the Mux
Registered the Mux

Now recording fine.
