I re-formatted my hard drive and when I install GBPVR config.exe crashes when it tries to launch. I have .NET 2.0 installed. Is there another program I need?

Thanks.

I had similar problems recently. What version of .NET2 are you running?I had to get mine updated to v.2.0.50727.42 before GBPVR would run correctly. What does windows trask manager report for cpu usage when you start config.exe I had it maxing out at 99% until I updated .NET.

Might be an idea to reproduce the error and the zip and attach config.exe.log and someone will take a look.

I followed the link on the GBPVR main page for .NET 2.0. I says the version is "beta2". Where do I find version 2.0.50727.42?

If you downloaded from the link on the GBPVR home page you have the right version which is beta1. v.2.0.50727.42.

If you new install of XP has all critical updates and service packs installed I should do like McBainUK says and zip and att your logs after you have reproduced the problem. Let someone take a look for you. I only suggested checking .NET2 v.? because that solved my exact same problem last week.
