error starting config.exe after upgrade to 09808

I was running 95.16 and lost the ability to display the TVGUIDE. SOmeone suggested I upgrade to the latest version 98.08. I ran the install, discovered I needed .net 2.0 so I updated that and reinstalled in the 98.08 over the existing 95.16 It completed with no errors. I started the config.exe and recvd and error: unable to load plugin list. Invalid connectionstringparameter for Password. and then references to sqllite. (I did not run the switchDB utility) After clicking ok I noticed I had to reconfigure my capture device, but after adding and configuring the guide params, I get an unhandled exception that continues to popup unless I click QUIT.

I have attached all the logs and the 3 error message screen captures.

A couple users noted that if you upgrade from an earlier version, skipping v0.97, then you can get this occurring. Make sure your config.xml has the following three settings and it should start working again:

thanks for the reply, but looking in the config.xml, I already have those settings there.

heres the section:

You need to change the 2 last lines to those that sub provided
