This may be totally lame brain to ask, but we are trying to set up a home secuirty 4 camera system as a build it yourself project. Will the program like you are all talking about, do the same as a security program, taking CCTV video feed into a DVR PC based PCI card and allow us to monitor and record via different inputs or is there a different type of software without the high professional price we may be looking for? Any information and links would be greatfully appreciated as this is very confusing to us.

Although free, GB-Pvr is not permitted for commercial use, which is what this post implies as I read it.

Would also like to know if gbpvr can do this? Not for commercial purposes tho!Smile

Well it can record as many sources as you have capture sources.

GBPVR does not support PIP (or viewing multiple video streams at once) at this time
