Video Dealy WinTV PVR-150

I'm curious about what to do about this...

If I got to the EPG and select a channel everything works fine but if I try to channel surf the video delay gets progressively larger and larger. If I go back to the EPG and reselect the channel then the video is back to being synched with the audio.

How do I fix this? To note: I dont get this problem when using WinTV. I have all the latest drivers for my card installed and I have tried used different decoders including the cyberlink decoders. I have a P4 2.6 GHz with 512 MB ram and LOTS of HD space. 128MB of video memory as well.

Its most likely either your audio or video decoder causing this. Try a different combination.

Also make sure you have the deinterlacing setting set to 'encoder pass-through'.

I've tried a number of different video and audio decoders. I'm still getting the lag. The deinterlacing mode is set to encoder pass through.

Does this have to do with maybe my CPU speed or low ram?

I'm out of ideas... especially since WinTV works correctly. What I have noticed though is that WinTV seems to take longer to change channels. I dont know if that gies any extra useful information.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll see if I can see anything obvious.

You could also try switching from VMR to Overlay.

hmmmm. I'm at a loss then. What would cause it to work properly in WinTV2000 and not in gbpvr?

This also happens in Media Portal - except that when the sound goes out of sync there it just stops until the video catches up to it.

O have the same phenomen, but it's not new introduced. And my machine is for sure not underpowered. X2 4.200+ + GF 7900GT + 6150 + 2 GB should be enough.
I am using NVIDIA PureVideo and VMR9.

Further i don't think, that this is a gb-pvr specific problem. I start at channel one and zap channel after channel. After ~18 Channels the picture will stutter and every new change make it more stuttery.
If i reach my external Video-In and start over again at channel 1, then all is normal again. If i jump directly from 1 to 27 then there's no stuttering too.

Perhaps it has something to do with the DxVA Acceleration, or with the driver for the TV-Card, i guess.
