GBPVR with no Recording or TVGuide

Hi,

I'm trying to build a HTPC for my daughter to archive all her DVD's and really like the looks of the GBPVR with the Revisor skin..

Is there a way for me to disable the recording service and TV Guide updates from the system ? This PC has no Tuner card and its sole purpose is to hold media .. ISO files / MP3's and JPG's

Also is there a good photo plugin in which i can customize the folder icon that will be displayed for a JPG folder ?

To do this you can set the recording service startup to 'disabled'. Set like this it'll give an error when you click the 'ok' button in the config app, but it will be otherwise fine.

Also is there a good photo plugin in which i can customize the folder icon that will be displayed for a JPG folder ?

The default Photo Library will show a preview image for a folder if its called Folder.jpg.
