I have a couple shows set up as reoccurring shows.
The last week or so I noticed that if I cancel one of the shows (not the whole reoccurring show but just one instance of the show) it comes back into pending recordings after an EPG Update. Not a big deal, but a little frustrating.
Thanks

you can uncheck the complete reload EPG, but you might run into the reschedule show time problem where it does not update the guide correctly.

Are you possibly running rectracker or any other utilities in batch files? I came across one of these a few days which seemed to be removing the logically deleted recordings, which would cause the behaviour you're describing. I'm trying to remember why, but there was a reason it was doing this.

No, I"m not running rec-tracker. The only utility I'm running through batch files (that I know of) is the TVGuideSuperCharger

TVGSc / I-xmltv shouldn’t have anything to do with the issue.

Carlito,
Are you using any of the “learning” sqlite scripts we were playing with in the developers forum? I posted one for PriorityRecordings (see post 22 in that thread) that will delete conflict and deleted status recordings, but it’s not intended for use with the native scheduler. If you added it, you’ll have a “DeleteConflicts.log” in your gbpvr folder.

PS.
Sub, the script works like a charm with PriorityRecordings, but I edited and removed deleted "status 6" from the script incase people try using it with the native scheduler.

No, I have not added any of the "learning scripts". No other plugins that should be messing with recordings.

Cool, I assumed you hadn’t but wanted to make sure because the script I posted in that thread could cause this exact behavior.

I have the same problem on both my setups. One has EPG reload enabled one doesn't. This isn't a new issue for me either. I remember running into this in August, I just don't delete scheduled recordings too often. If I delete from the EWA, the deleted scheduled recording comes back after the EPG updates. If I delete from the Pending Recordings within GBPVR, then it stays deleted across EPG updates. I'm not using any plugins except for I-xmltv 1.2 but I've tried GBPVR's built-in EPG updater and had the same problem.

Yeah, this may have been happening for a while but I, as well, don't usually delete scheduled recordings. It just so happens one of the shows I have setup have been playing a lot of re-runs I have already seen, so instead of wasting disk space and disk access I decided to cancel them. That's when I noticed the problem
